Annikie Origins!
One of my earliest bakes were raspberry and apricot thumbprint cookies. They immediately became a big hit in our household, and the cookies would disappear within days. I loved how easy to make and versatile the shortbread base was, so I began experimenting with the shape and baking process to make them even better!
Soon my Bharatanatyam Arangetram was coming up, and I wanted thank you favors that expressed who I am and my interests, one of them being baking. Thumbprint cookies are super easy to bake (especially in bulk) and have flavors that everyone loves, making them the perfect option! With the help of my dad, I came up with the brand Annikies, my signature thumbprint cookies!
