On March 30, 2024, I was honored to attend Seattle Children’s Community Day!
I got to meet the all the wonderful organizers and Community Giving team who works to make Seattle Children’s a pillar in our community!
I am especially honored to say that I was awarded the “Hope” Award for my outstanding passion, involvement, and tenacity about fundraising and supporting SCH! It was so great to attend this event, and I am still in shock about the award! It has been an priviledge to work with Seattle Children’s, and I hope to continue working with them in the future, in any way I can.
An especially hearty thank you to Christina Burmester and Eve Kopp, thank you so much for being my points of contact over the past couple years and supporting me in my endeavors. I could not have achieved this without you both, and I am excited to continue working with you guys.
I also got to meet Seattle Children’s CEO, Jeff Sperring, VP of Development, Kari Rallo, and Family Advisory Program Manager, Brei Haywood. It was great to meet you all and I am excited to expand my efforts in providing support to cancer patients with the Family and Patient Advisory Boards!
Overall, this event was such a wonderful experience, and I am so grateful to have been invited. See you next year SCH!
