This year, I donated 150 Annikies for Seattle Children’s Annual Bereavement Service. Thank you to The Journey team (Alice, Emily, Evalynn, and Abigail) for giving me this opportunity. It was so great to meet them all, I am so glad to have been able to contribute to an event that helped so many families.

The SCH Bereavement Event is run by The Journey Program at Seattle Children’s. They focus on providing emotional support to grieving families/loved ones who have lost someone while at Seattle Children’s. While The Journey Program is open to all, the Annual Bereavement Event was meant to specifically focus on grieving parents. The service centered around acknowledging and remembering the children.
It was a beautiful event, and I am grateful that I was able to attend and hold space for others. The Journey Program is focused on such a noble cause and I look forward to continue working with them.
